America's Credit Union

America’s Credit Union was looking to make a bigger presence in the Dallas community. They had a full branch build in the works, but the completion date was in the distance and they were not willing to make their Dallas members wait any longer. To solve this problem, they turned to their trusted partner, DBSI.

DBSI created a plan to leverage an existing space. America's Credit Union already owned an administrative office in a high-traffic area of corporate offices in Dallas, and it just happened to have a large, outdated, unused space inside. The perfect space for a temporary micro-branch.

To jumpstart their strategizing process, America’s Credit Union made a trip out to DBSI’s Ideation Center for a full day of interacting with the latest retail banking innovations and technology. Through this visit, they ultimately discovered the perfect solution: a modular microbranch, known as JunXion, that offers a flexible millwork solution where different elements can be picked up and moved to its new location once ready. Perfect for when their new branch is ready and they are ready to grow their HQ into the space below it.

By working together onsite, our teams identified the right mix of equipment and design to create a new member experience tailored to this high-traffic area. 

The JunXion offered the ideal solution, creating an immediate community presence while making smart use of a small, previously unused space. 

Designed to be completely modular, the JunXion can be taken apart, relocated, and reassembled wherever it’s needed. Because it consists of millwork and technology rather than permanent construction, it required no city approvals, allowing for a quick implementation.

The footprint may be small and the location temporary, but the experience is anything but scaled back. Every detail was designed to deliver the full America’s Credit Union experience, with retail design elements and technology that make the space look, feel, and function like a full-service branch.
