Nuvision Credit Union

Mesa, AZ

A Community-Focused Branch Designed to Expand Access

Since 1935, Nuvision Credit Union has helped members build better lives through trust and personal service. Founded to serve aircraft employees, the credit union operated for decades from an on‑site Boeing location in Mesa.

When Nuvision set out to open a new branch, the goal went beyond a new building. They wanted to remove access barriers, welcome the broader community, and deliver a modern banking experience without losing the personal connection members value.

Challenge:

Nuvision needed a branch model that expanded access beyond an on‑site location, supported longer service hours through technology, and still felt personal, warm, and community-first.

Approach:

Partnering with DBSI, Nuvision designed a flexible service experience that blends modern self-service technology with human connection, supported by welcoming, durable interior finishes aligned to the brand.

Celebrating the Grand Opening with the Community

The new Mesa Longbow branch opened with a ribbon-cutting event that brought together city leaders and community partners. To mark the occasion, Nuvision donated $2,500 to the local VFW Post 1760 and another $2,500 to Paz De Cristo Community Center, a nonprofit that helps people facing hunger, poverty, and homelessness. These generous donations further reflect Nuvision’s community-first mission in supporting communities that extend beyond financial services.

Built for Access, Options, and Personal Service

Just minutes from Falcon Field, the Mesa, Arizona, branch offers a space focused on flexibility, accessibility, and, most importantly, personalized service:

  • Two teller pods replaced the teller lines, enabling more open, conversational service.
  • Full-service ITMs with Live Teller Connect, extending teller access 12 hours a day, Monday–Saturday.
  • Nuvision Credit Union’s first drive-thru ATM/ITM in Arizona.

Together, these features support a service model that meets members where they are, whether they prefer face-to-face support, technology-enabled teller access, or quick drive‑thru convenience.

Interior Design Details That Welcome and Guide

The strategic design highlights Nuvision’s brand, using warm wood tones and bold accent colors to create a space that feels both professional and welcoming. Gray wood flooring stands up to heavy use, while softer materials in waiting areas naturally invite conversation among members. The overall effect is a space that feels calm, easy to use, and relationship-based. Reinforcing Nuvision’s brand while supporting clear wayfinding and comfortable, relationship-based service.

All in the design details: The interior was intentionally designed to support the branch’s service flow, allowing members to move between self-service touchpoints and personal support without disrupting the modern banking experience.
